MEMBERSHIP REMINDER AND NOTICE OF THE RED ARROWS ASSOCIATION REUNION ON SATURDAY 17 MARCH 2018

 Membership.  Membership runs from July to June each year.  Membership costs £5.00 a year. Members can pay by Banker’s Order, BACS, home internet banking or by cheque.

Annual Reunion.  The Red Arrows Association Annual Reunion will be held on Saturday 17 March 2018 at Sywell Aerodrome, as guests of The Blades aerobatic team ( www.theblades.com ).

All present and former Red Arrows personnel and their spouse/partner are invited to attend.

Itinerary. Members and their guests will arrive 1045 to 1100 and will be met by Blades Hostesses. The day will proceed as follows:

1100-1120 – Coffee

1130 – 1230 – Red Arrows Association AGM

1230 – 1330 – Buffet Lunch

1330 – 1400 – Blades presentation

1400 – 1430 – Coffee

1435 – 1450 – Blades Private Display

1500 – 1530 – Guests depart

  • The hangar will be dressed with one or two Blades Extra 300s and potentially another aircraft of ‘Reds’ interest..!
  • Food would be a buffet style lunch (self-service from tables set up at side of hangar) with tea/coffee served all day.
  • There would be Blades Hostesses to meet and greet and support during the day
  • A Blades pilot will give a presentation on the Blades.
  • Finally, there would be a private Blades Display for the guests to be viewed at the entrance of the Hangar.

Cost. Costs are as follows and have been set to ensure maximum member attendance:

Members – £25.00* each (*Members who join after 16 Oct 2017 – £35.00)

First Guest – £25.00** each (**Members who join after 16 Oct 2017 – First guest also £35.00)

Children (age 5 to 16) – £15.00 each

All other guests – £60.00 each

There is NO limit on numbers – the hangar can take up to 500 people.

Evening. Please stay and enjoy a few drinks and a meal with old friends. Venue to be confirmed but the Aviator Hotel is on Sywell Aerodrome!
